Jelly Roll Race Event
Let's Celebrate National Jelly Roll Day!!
This is a day dedicated to quilting with Jelly Rolls. In honor of National Sew a Jelly Roll Day we'll be having a Jelly Roll Race. A Jelly Roll Race quilt is beginner-friendly quilt known for its speed and simplicity.
The day will include light snacks, raffle items, and a series of friendly competitions.
- Race #1 Starting with an unopened Jelly Roll
- Race #2 Starting with the Jelly Roll already sewn together end-to-end into a long strip of approximately 1600 inches
- Race #3 Alternative Jelly Roll Race - this will include those interested in adding squares or triangles between the Jelly Roll strips
Please note there is homework for those interested in doing Race 2 or 3.
