P.O.S.H. Mariners Compass Quilt Class

This beautiful take on a traditional Mariner's Compass has people talking when they see it hanging in the shop for sure! Here's the thing, you can totally do this!  Skip will be leading you through the paper piecing portion of the star and then the rest?   Log Cabin blocks!  It's actually 4 quadrants if you study the quilt, you'll see it.  We have fabrics in the kit as shown.  Three sessions on this one.  First session will be overview and explaining the process.  You will begin to paper piece your first compass.  Session Two will be to complete the paper piecing portion and start work on the log cabin blocks and setting triangles.  Session Three will be putting it all together and squaring it up for the fabulous finish.  Kit price includes all the stunning fabrics by Janet Clare for Moda to complete the top and binding, approximately 11 yards, along with the pattern and pre-printed paper pieces. That's the worst part over with!  We'll make all the copies on preferred paper! Finished quilt size is approximately 71" x 85"  You will need to provide backing fabric and batting to complete the quilt. If you wish to have it quilted in the pattern featured on our sample, InStitches will complete the long arm stitching for 1/2 price of $75.  Regular pricing is $151.00.  Trimming, squaring, repairs would be additional charge if necessary.
