If you have always wanted to recreate French sewn garments from the Victorian and Edwardian era, this class if for you.  Learn the differences between silk, cotton batiste, fine linen, and French laces and Swiss embroideries.  

If you have already taken beginning heirloom sewing, this will be a refresher course and you will learn some more advanced techniques.

This is an all day workshop where you will produce a notebook full of samples of how to apply lace, entradeaux, puffing, and trims.   you will learn how to make twin needle pintucks and how to shape lace and then use a wing needle to produce machine made hemstitches.   After taking this class, you can create the most wonderful Christening gowns, party dresses or home decor with a special, elegant look.
